Geeksquisite Question of the Day: 7/22/09

This question came to me when thinking about going to pre-school. I always remembered story time in the library with the librarian reading to us.

Question #13: When you first started listening/reading books what was the first book you can remember?

  1. I remember I as around 4 and it as a summer program just before kindergarden started. I remember the librarian reading "Rainbow Fish" to us. I don't really remember the book but I remember the cover "it was shiny".

  2. I came out of the womb talking so my mom had to keep me entertained somehow. She was reading to me way before I started school ... mostly The Bernstein Bears. My favorite children's book is The Runaway Bunny. <3

  3. The earliest ones I can remember were the Goosebump horror series by R. L. Stine, the live acton adaptions blew my mind at times.

  4. I remember kids books being read to me, but I never remember the name of any of them. The farthest back I can remember is maybe 5th or 6th grade when we all read Treasure Island.
