G-phoria 2009 Winners

Hey guys The awards actually took place about a week ago but I've been really busy and just haven't had the time to post. So here is the start of a bit of a back catalog of things to do.

Here are the results of the 2009 G phoria  awards. My personal picks are in Bold and the Winner is simply labeled as such. Let me know what you think of their picks. As you might notice I only picked 7 of 20 of the winners just showing how much my taste differs from the typical G4 audience I assume. Note a lot of my losses come from Fallout 3 which seems to have people hypnotized into thinking it's actually good but I digress. Here are your winners...

Gphoria 2009 Awards: August 5th 8pm EST

So anyone who watches G4 knows that every summer they have their Gphoria awards. This year Gphoria 2009 will be airing August 5th at 8pm EST. Click here to cast your vote. Below I have all the nominations listed along with my personal picks highlighted. Please leave some of your thoughts in the comments. I know these awards mean nothing but it doesn't mean we can't have a good video game discussion anyway.

I still find it really odd that G4 does awards every August instead of at the end of the year. While the VGA's also don't mean much at least they get the time of the year right. Also Note I haven't played every single game on this list but I've tried most of them so I feel pretty good about my choices. Even though I think some nominations are really odd like Resistance 2 being up for best graphics or no Geometry Wars 2? Also sad to see no Battlefield 1943 up for best Downloadable Game. I know it's obviously too new so I assume it will be on the list next year. Anyway go vote or comment below and have fun.
