It looks pretty good even though it might not be the final product :O

Look at the detail in the background, pretty nice. I also see you can choose what act to play from a specific level, and I think I saw as many as 4 acts in one level. That's quite a bit, and the music has some nods to the previous games.

Sega Announces New Sonic Game

I left an important fact out, it's 2D, and it's returning to its nostalgic roots.



Okay I have to say that trailer excited me a little, 2D is a step in the right direction. Sega has listened to fans, and perhaps this upcoming game could break the chain of disappointment.

Originally obtained by this 1UP article, the game is going to be HD and hopefully it will be a success to age old Sonic fans like me and Rob. Next stop, Sega console? :D Jaleel White voicing this Sonic?
