So look, a lot of us here at Geeksquisite really aren't into WoW all that much. Some of us were at some point but that ship has sailed far far away. Regardless I'm sure some of you still love your WoW so I might as well put something up about it. I'm not going to go over everything new since you either already know it, don't care, or will watch the trailer below in find out in about 4 minutes. So just a few things I thought were pretty cool, the new Worgen class for the alliance. They seem essentially like good werewolfs and they just look incredible. The horde have Goblins now which seems like it's something that should have existed a long time ago but whatever. The new look to the world itself seems pretty impressive I must say. The Cataclysm they speak of seems like some super volcano went off or something and has completely changed the landscape of the game. Every trailer Blizzard makes has me itching to play the game but then I turn it on and after about 2 days I get bored out of my mind with no intention of returning. I think I'll wait until Star Wars: The Old Republic myself but if your a WoW player this looks pretty fucking exciting.

This footage was cam filmed so the sound is pretty awful and the video is a bit grainy. But it shows the starting area and gameplay footage of the Worgen so if your interested it is worth the look. I really like the transformation.
Also some pretty bad quality Goblin gameplay. The audio is much more tolerable in this one though.

Do You Want To Date My Avatar?
For those that are unaware Felicia Day is the creator of the web series "The Guild" and also started in Joss Whedon's Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. There pretty much nothing this girl has touched that hasn't turned to gold. So with this new music video promoting the upcoming 3rd season of "The Guild" the streak continues. The video is a parody of the MMO World of Warcraft. Enjoy the hotness of Felicia Day.

Sam Raimi to Direct Warcraft Movie
Blizzard announced yesterday that a Warcraft movie will be coming in the future, and Sam Raimi is on board to direct. This seems both crazy and exciting at the same time, Raimi is obviously well established and I think he could do a really good job on a Warcraft movie. Warcraft can be dark, but can also be fun, and we've seen both of those sides from Raimi already. Here's what Raimi had to say on the project:"At its core, Warcraft is a fantastic, action-packed story," said Raimi. "I am thrilled to work with such a dynamite production team to bring this project to the big screen."
Raimi is not the only big name on the project either, Charles Roven will be brining in his Atlus Entertainment producing company, who produced The Dark Knight. They will be working alongside Raimi's Stars Road Entertainment in order to make sure the movie is well promoted. With the huge success of The Dark Knight, I'm guessing Atlus Entertainment can definitely help a lot in promoting this movie. I have high hopes that the movie will be as good as it can be, and here's hoping it is.
