Uncharted 2 Behind the Scenes
I just finished watching this fantastic behind the scenes on Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Holding off until Christmas to play the game is going to be killer I tell you. Everything about this game looks absolutely incredible and seems to mesh my two loves games and movies like I've never seen before.

Left 4 Dead Survival Guide Trailer
I have to say I never really loved the one cutscene in the first Left 4 Dead. It was a okay and i watched it once or twice but thats it. Valve really looks like they are getting better and better at cutscenes though. So far while of the gameplay for the new game has been great I feel like the characters haven't grown on me like the first. This trailer however has a ton of personality and makes me much more excited to play these new characters. I'm personally torn between the Coach and Nick the conman.

God of War 1&2 PS3 Trailer
God of War 1 and 2 are coming to the ps3 in november on a single Blu-Ray and in High-Definition for the first time. I'm really looking forward to this mainly because I have never played the second game since by the time it came out I had already moved onto next-gen gaming. From what I've heard it's only going to be 40 bucks for the two games so it's a great deal especially if you haven't played these incredible games yet.

Final Fantasy XIII Trailer Dubbed
I know, I know, this is the third time we've posted this video but I swear it isn't my fault. First Square Enix released the trailer with no english translation, then a english sub version, and now finally an English dub. Not must to say since you've all pretty much have seen this footage 3 times. All I can say is that the dubbing is quite good and probably the best i've heard for a JRPG possibly ever. Enjoy!

AVATAR The Game: Story and Features
Alright so AVATAR The Game isn't an MMO? DID I MISS A MEMO, like what the hell. I remember for the last year are so up until about this summer that it was going to be an MMO. Now according to this video it's a 15 hour campaign where you play humans for a shooter for like 7 hours and as a Na'vi in a more melee focused campaign. Now I'm not saying thats bad in fact the game looks pretty dam good and I really do like Ubisoft. On top of that they've been working on this for 2 1/2 years unlike most movie games where you only have 10-14 months. Still when the hell did this become a third-person single player game and not an MMO. Seriuosly how did I miss that?

TGS 09: Epic New Final Fantasy XIII Japanese Trailer
Just watched this pretty epic 7 minute FFXIII trailer and while I didn't understand a single fucking word they were saying I couldn't help but be captivated by the whole presentation. This felt a lot like a story trailer but since I don't speak japansese and it isn't subtitled the visuals is all I can go on. Oh and did I forget to mention there is a decsent amount of gameplay footage in there to. The game comes out December 17th in Japan but probably won't hit the US and Europe until like May or June. Which isn't that bad because considering I will probably sink a ton of hours into the game it would be a good idea for me to not have to worry about classes while playing Final Fantasy XIII. So go now and enjoy the beauty that is FFXIII.Saturday, September 26, 2009
TGS 09: Dead Rising 2 Demo
Here's a bunch of footage of the upcoming Dead Rising 2 from Capcom. The first game came out a while before this site and the podcast so I don't know if anyone really knows but I really disliked the first game. That's not to say I wouldn't be open to a sequel if it was done better. The ideas in the first game were fantastic the problem was the execution. I thought the controls were a bit loose but tolerable, it was the missions that really killed the game for me. I just never found any of it compelling and most of the survivors you found were just plain annoying. The new game is looking really good at the moment so lets see what happens, enjoy the footage.and some extra footage of the game running:

TGS 09: New Avatar Footage
I was really unsure of how well this game would turn out since game properties based on movies don't tend to be all that great but this looks pretty promising. My only problem with this game is that it's been called an MMO but I don't know what they are talking about. I haven't seen anything other then a cool third-person shooter. I know there are third-person shooter MMO's I'm just saying I wanna hear about how thats going to work cause right now it just looks like a campaign.
TGS 09: Ninokuni Japanese Trailer
I'm so excited for this game even though I know nearly nothing about it. It's this games pedigree that make me yearn to play it on my Nintendo DS, first is it's a level 5 RPG and second is that the art is done by FUCKING STUDIO GHIBLI!!! That is all that needs to be said in my opinion so go enjoy this beautiful trailer.

TGS 09: Final Fantasy XIV Trailer
Hard for me to really get a lot out of this trailer but I'm still curious. I'm sure this game will have crazy sales in Japan but I just don't know if in this post WoW MMO world we live in that this game will find a large western audience. It will be really interesting to follow this game and see how it does in the market. Of course this game probably won't be out until 2011.

TGS 09: New Last Guardian Footage
The video starts off with a nice little behind the scenes of the work going into The Last Guardian and explaining why the creature looks the way it does. Then we see some new footage but not real gameplay form what I can see. Although all footage is in-game engine which is always nice. I'll put it simply by stating this is my most anticipated game of 2010 at this point. There is still God of War III, Halo: Reach, Heavy Rain, and more but this game is one that has got me giddy.

TGS 09: Wii Price Drop confirmed and New Super Mario Bros. Wii gets a date
This shouldn't come as a shock to anyone whose been following the leaked retail ads around the web but the Wii price drop is now official. Starting this Sunday, September 27th the Wii will cost you 199.99 in stores. It makes total sense and one can only hope that this means Wii HD isn't that far way. Dare I put my foot down and say an announcement in 2010 with a 2011 release? Who knows but just thought I'd let you know incase you were finally thinking about getting a Wii this holiday.Lets not forget though that the New Super Mario Brothers Wii is also coming soon. November 15th is the date so mark your calendars and get ready to once again enter the mushroom kingdom.
TGS 09: Lost Planet 2 Episodic Trailer
So at TGS which is currently going on Capcom showed a episodic trailer in 3 parts giving some insight into the story of Lost Planet 2 which takes place about 10 years after the ending of the first game. The action here looks incredible and all I can say is that if you thought the monster in the demo released on XBL back in August was big then trust me in saying "you haven't seen anything yet". Lost Planet 2 is coming early 2010 and I cannot wait.

TGS 09: Splinter Cell: Conviction has a release date
To be honest I've never really been into the Splinter Cell series and haven't played one since the first came out. Well Splinter Cell: Conviction showed incredibly well at E3 2009 and got me really excited about coming back to the series this holiday season. Then sadly came the news that it was delayed to sometime in 2010. Well the time has come and we now have a date, February 23rd 2010 Sam Fisher will be back in action.

The World of Brutal Legend Featurette
This is a great little video on the art of the and influence of the world where Brutal Legend takes place. There is a lot of new footage here to look at. If nothing else this game will easily win Best Art Direction of the year when voting comes around. Enjoy the Awesomeness!

No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle Developer Video
I had recently seen the Developer video that Suda 51 has made that was shown at PAX 2009.You can watch it here.
The developer video not only shows off some cool things about the game, but is well put together, and is really entertaining. Suda Goichi(Suda 51) is probobly one of my favorite developers, and I really think he understands that a game should be made fun before it's made great from a technical standpoint.
The video showed off some new features, such as new type of beam katanas you can
unlock and the introduction of 2D jobs which, as you can see to the right, they look like they came straight out of a game on the NES or SNES. He also talks a bit about some of the new boss battles, and how you could be fighting multiple enemies, which seems like fun, however he doesn't show us too much just to avoid any spoilers. He also mentions improved AI, some new wrestling moves, the ability to dismember enemies in a few more ways... lots of small, but welcome changes. The graphical quality of the game looks slightly more crisp than the last game, and it's definitely looking great for what the Wii can pump out. I was already sold on the game, but now after watching this trailer and seeing some gameplay, It looks to be an allover more polished game than the first, which had it's fair share of glitches, despite being incredibly satisfying and fun. Be sure to look for the game when it hits stores January 2010.

Halo: ODST (Live Action Trailer)
Guys I know I've been saying how I would prefer a Halo movie to be CGI and not live action. But and that's a big but, if that live aciton movie looked like this I would be totally in. The trailer shows a few ODST soldiers getting into the heat of battle and fighting off the covenant. It is simply amazing, Microsoft and Bungie certainly know how to market their mega blockbuster franchise. Enjoy!

GTA IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony Trailer Impressions
Rockstar has just released the first trailer for the newest GTA IV DLC on their website, and as you can see above, youtube. I did enjoy The Lost and The Damned very much, so the DLC so far has been very good. This trailer does not disappoint, and apparently, we'll get to see a lot more of Liberty City's techno night-life. There was also what appeared to be nitrous in the trailer, so possibly we'll get some car customization. At one point we also see some guys fighting in a cage, it looked a bit like Fight Club to me, perhaps we'll have underground cage matches? There's also a couple new cars in there, too... at one point I noticed something that looked like a new Super GT, but the best new car I saw was the freaking GOLF CART! Also of mention is a part in the trailer with a parachute... definitely reminds me of San Andreas a bit. The new character you play as doesn't seem to be gay tony, because at one point, we see him making out with a chick. However, the whole trailer seems centered around the story of Gay Tony, and a lot of the characters seem to be pretty funny. It seems like this expansion will be a bit more humorous than GTA IV has been in the main game, or previous expansions. Be sure to look for the content later this year when it hits stores on October 29th.
