Tech Review: Microsoft Office 2010 (Mostly Word)

So I finally got my Technical Preview copy of Microsoft Office 2010 Technical Preview. It runs so much better than the previous version. The first thing that will pop out to you is the new loading screen (installation stayed the same). Also it loads a lot faster.

After you load it up you can automatically tell that the colors on it are different and so are some of the buttons. The format is also easier to use, so you can create anything from one of those long essays for school or invitations for a party. You can add effects like Shading, Reflection and a 3D look. Also with SmartArt, you can add cool diagrams to your work. Also a new feature is called Backstage view which is a menu that you can set permissions, share, print and more. Printing is easier to do now that you can do it all from one window instead of many.

I think Microsoft has done a great job with the new Microsoft office, though there are a few things that need to be fixed (like some of the buttons don't look good). I cannot wait for it to come out so I can get my copy.
