Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition to cost $150

MW2 Prestige Edition Unboxing

1up has price of Prestige Edition

So I was going around the web looking at some news and came across an article on 1up that revealed the price of the Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition. We posted a video showing the unboxing of the Prestige Edition. I commented on how I thought it looked really cool for the right price. I said I wouldn't be surprised to see it priced around 129.99 like the Halo Legendary edition. The difference being for me that the goggles here are actually functional while the helmet is useless, Well turns out the goggles coming with the Prestige Edition will go for 150 dollars.

At 130 I thought maybe just maybe I'll buy this if I have a little spare cash. At 150 though it's not gonna happen. No way in hell will I pay 150 bucks for a video game. Sorry but I'm out. If you can do it then by all means go ahead but i could get like 3 games for that price so I think I'll have to pass. It's a shame cause the edition was looking really cool.

  1. sounds reasonable for some WORKING NIGHTVISION GOGGLES!

You say you're not paying $150 bucks for a game, but you're really not paying for a game, are you?
the $60 out of that $150 is going towards the game, and the rest is for all the bonuses...
so, really... you're just buying the game, and let's take $10 more out of the price for the artbook, and all of the normal features, $5 out for the head stand for your goggles, and what are we left with? a $75 special edition game, and $75 nightvision goggles.

    sounds pretty reasonable to me...

all things considered, though, I'm probobly not getting it, but not because it's overpriced... just because I don't have any money to get the game in the first place.

  2. Pretty sue I don't need Night vision goggles. So thats the main reason why I don't want this edition. the substantial price just tips that over.
