Geeksquisite Question of the Day #24: 8/2/09

This question came to me when thinking about shooters like Battlefield 1943 that have a good balance fun and challenge.

Question #24: Do you mostly play games competitively or casually?

  1. I wouldn't exactly say casually... but I enjoy single player games more than multiplayer games, so i'm not big on competition.

  3. Depends on the game and what mood I'm in. Games like Halo and Gears of War I will play casually but games like Command & Conquer I will play competitively.

  5. I would say I'm a casual gamer ... I feel like some games are meant to be competitive and some are not, but not everyone agrees with me. :/ Even though the definition for 'game' involves rules, a winner, and a loser I think getting too competitive over a game takes the fun out of it.

  6. To be honest it depends on the game. For the most part though, I tend to be a competitive player. This is especially true on multiplayer games.
