Geeksquisite Question of the Day #30: 8/7/09

This question came to me when thinking about the release of the new G.I. Joe movie. I don't know if the movie is any good or not but I do know that Cobra Commando was a pretty kick-ass villian when I was a kid.

Question #30: Who is your favorite movie villian?

  1. I'm really tempted to say Heath Ledger's Joker...
but, I dunno... I still think there's a few better villains out there.

I'd say the best movie villain is Darth Vader but only the one from The Original Trilogy...
before he got pussified by Revenge of the Sith.

  2. Well, I really enjoyed Magneto in X-men one...mostly because you understand where he's coming from and why he is the way he is. He was logically evil, and his misanthropy came from watching the nazi's attempt to eradicate an entire race. I mean his actions are logical in the sense that he sees the mutants following the same path of persecution that the jews went through and decides to preemptively strike back. Obviously he essentially becomes what he hated on the opposite end of the spectrum

But, when were talking sheer chaos and trying to show that humans can revert to primal animals at the drop of hat, gotta give it to Heath Ledgers Joker.

"When the chips are down, these "civilized" People will eat each other."

Some great lines in that movie.

  3. I'm going to have to say Jafar from Aladdin, seeing him become a Snake in that movie was animation gold for me. He also turned into a genie which had great animation scenes, yeah i'm going to have to say Jafar
